Article Marketing
With this well known technique, you write articles of approximately 500 words each and submit them to article directories. With each article you can include author bio information containing a link to your website. As article directories start to accept your article, you get backlinks to your website. Link Exchanges
Many people try link exchange techniques in order to get links from related websites. This technique used to work reasonably well, but the search engines now discount reciprocal links. Getting one way links is much more valuable, but is also much harder to do. You can also try to buy links from link brokers.
